The university of Jena, Germany, is seeking a PhD candidate student that will model the impacts of heatwaves in medium-sized European cities. The initial phase will be a two-year appointment at the University of Jena, advertised here:
The PhD student will be coordinated by prof. Alexander Brenning (Univ. Jena) and co-mentored by prof. Jukka Käyhkö (Turku/Finland) and prof. Lucian Sfica (Iasi/Romania) within the Virtual Institute on Sustainable Cities and Communities of the European university alliance EC2U (https://ec2u.eu).
