Launch of 2020 Call for CAT (Constructive Advanced Thinking), Univ Konstanz

Together with our European sister institutes, the Zukunftskolleg has opened the 2nd call for applications for the *Constructive Advanced Thinking (CAT) Programme 2020.

This call has been incubated in the Network of European Institutes for Advanced Study (Netias ) and also involves institutes beyond the network. We invite teams of early-career researchers who are dedicating projects to understand and tackle current or emerging societal challenges to apply for this funding opportunity.

CAT will provide teams of early-career researchers (three to five persons, possibly including a stakeholder) time and space for thought and discussion in the best research environments Europe has to offer.

During a period of up to three years, teams will benefit from a series of short stays in participating institutes. CAT will cover travel and accommodation costs for the team meetings and work stays. CAT will not fund salaries.

You will find the call for applications as well as information about the eligibility criteria and the application process under:

https://www.uni-konstanz.de/zukunftskolleg/about-zukunftskolleg/cooperations/constructive-advanced-thinking-cat/

Questions can be directed to us via e-mail: CAT2020@uni-konstanz.de

We are looking forward to receiving the applications until 1 September 2020, 15:00 pm (Konstanz time) to our online application platform

We are looking forward to more cat(s) at the Zukunftskolleg and around Europe.

Thank you for your help in distributing the call in your network!

Best wishes from Konstanz,
