The European Commission – supported by Ricardo – is launching an online questionnaire to consult a broad range of stakeholders on the details of the future implementation of the EU LIFE programme.
The general objectives of the post-2020 LIFE programme have been provisionally agreed, and the task is now to draw up the first Multiannual Work Programme covering the period 2021-2024. The consultation findings will be taken into account during the preparation of the Multiannual Work Programme for LIFE.
With this email, we are inviting you to participate in this targeted consultation. The questionnaire is available here (https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/Targeted_Consultation_LIFE-2021-2027) and will be open until 27 April. We would appreciate responses as soon as possible so that we can start analysing your feedback.
Completing the questionnaire should take you no more than 20-25 minutes and it includes both open and closed questions. First, you are asked to provide some information about yourself which is then followed by questions on two areas – priorities and strategies, and implementation of the future LIFE Programme. The questionnaire is concluded by information about contact details.
As we would wish to reach all interested citizens and organisations, you are invited to forward this invitation and link to the consultation to colleagues as well as to other persons who you believe might be interested in completing the questionnaire. A formal invitation letter from the European Commission is also attached.
LIFE has been a highly successful programme, but there is always room for improvement. We look forward to drawing on your knowledge and your experience to ensure that that this next round is as productive and fruitful as possible.
