The call for special sections is open to all PhD researchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>How to propose a special session?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Proposals will be emailed to Prof. Corneliu Ia\u021bu (ciatu@uaic.ro), in the form of a PDF document, which will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the title of the proposed section and a brief description of the issues to be discussed in the proposed section (150-250 words).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the name and affiliation of the organizer (s) of the special section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>preliminary titles for at least 4 papers to be presented in the section<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>one author can present a maximum of 2 papers<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for sending the special sessions proposals:<br><strong>31st of May 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline for the notification regarding the acceptance of the special sessions proposals:<br><strong>15th of June 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The works of the International Geographic Seminar \u201cDimitrie Cantemir\u201d encourage the creation of special sections in which their organizers can discuss current issues specific to a particular field \/ working group \/ research project.
