Price – 300 lei, covering: 500-km coach transportation, 1-night accommodation, breakfast, entrance to a wine cellar (wine tasting included), entrance tickets to museums, local tour guide, Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch.

07:00 Breakfast at own expense at the accommodation structure in Iași.
08:00 Departure from A Building, UAIC  Iași
09:00 Arrival at Sculeni Customs (RO-MD border) and customs formalities (1h)
10:00 Entering the Rep. of Moldova
12.30 Guided tour of a typical wine cellar (“winery”) – visit, experiences, tasting.
15:00 Departure to Brănești / Orheiul Vechi
16:00 Meal at Epoca de Piatră (“Stone Age”) / Kamenskii Vek, a troglodyte / underground restaurant in Brănești village
18:00 Visit to “Orheiul Vechi” Archeological Complex:  Butuceni village – an open-air ethnographic museum, Orheiul  Vechi Monastery, “Pestera”/”Cave” Monastery, the physical-geographical landscape of the Răutul Gorge, the rural landscape of Trebujeni village, the ruins of the old Tatar fortresses.
21:00 Departure to accommodation place (in Orhei area or in Chisinau, depending on availability and size of the final group)

12:00 Visit to the History / Ethnographic Museum (at choice)

15:00 Departure to Leușeni Customs
16:30 Visit to Căpriana Monastery (built by Stephen the Great, Voivode of Moldavia)
17:00 Departure to Vama Leușeni
18:00 Arrival at Leușeni Customs (MD-RO border) and customs formalities (1.5h)
19:30 Departure to Iasi
21: 00-22: 00 Arrival in Iasi *

* “Arrival in Iasi on Sunday evening is scheduled for 21: 00-22: 00, but the time depends on the duration of customs formalities, which can take longer.

We recommend to all participants in the field trip to schedule their departure from Iasi the following day. However, guests who may want to catch the Iasi – Bârlad – Constanța trains (22:30), Iasi – Bacau – Bucharest (22:45) and Iasi – Vaslui – Bucharest (23:15) will be transferred directly to Iasi railway station. We cannot provide transfer to Iasi airport for those who want to catch the Bucharest plane in the evening.

Guests from the route Iași – Suceava – Cluj – Oradea – Timișoara will be able to catch the next day train at 05:57 and the direct flight Iași-Timișoara at 08:30 (operated by Tarom). There are also direct flights to Bucharest at 05:45, 09:30, 12:50, 14:00 (operated by Tarom) and at 07:00 (operated by Blue Air).
